Mr. Wu Wenhao is a senior expert with 38 years experience in the field of water resources, hydropower, and renewable energy. He is currently serving as the Secretary General of International Forum of China Society for Hydropower Engineering (IF-CSHE). He studied hydropower development in the Norwegian University of Science and Technology during 1995 to 1997 and obtained a MSc degree. He has extensive experience in execution management, development and project financing in international hydropower and infrastructure projects. Over the past nearly 30 years from 1992 to 2021, he has been working in overseas in international engineering project development, execution, and management for 21 years. He has been involved in large-scale project market development and construction execution, and has served as the project director, project manager, chief engineer, and Special Consultant for several overseas large-scale projects in China, Pakistan, Malaysia, Qatar and Ethiopia etc.

He was the in charge engineer for the staged river diversion for Wiquangxi Hydroower project of 1200MW, he designed the heavy concrete bridge and steel bridge for the cableway tower and concrete transportation locomotive. All the above works were awarded excellent prizes from the company and the river diversion was awarded 2rd prize of national engineering award.
